Rafael/a’s training as a licensed massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, reiki practitioner and sound artist is trauma-informed and TBIPOC-centered. He seeks to meet his relatives and workshops participants where they are at, encouraging awareness of boundaries that support care and connection for individuals and groups. He works along the edge of each collective’s growth and offers grounding for every aspect of release or change that is encountered in his workshops. Because he is a bodyworker and movement artist at heart, Rafael/a emphasizes embodied learning and practice as a core aspect of his facilitation approach. He enjoys creating bridges and accesible ways for non-trans community to support and protect trans relatives in institutional and communal settings.
